About us
"MEAT-POL" company is located in Poland in Store Kobiałki, Łuków County, Lublin Province.
It was established in 1990. The company is owned by Adam Jończyk.
Due to the growing demand for and considerable interest in our products by foreign contractors, in 2001 we decided to modernize our plant. In 2002 the plant was equipped with fully automatic cattle slaughter line, beef meat cutting and packing line and in 2003 it was also granted the export authorizations to: Bosnia, Herzegovina, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Switzerland and Turkey.
State-of-the-art production lines and implemented HACCP system for monitoring and supervision over the production process allow us to maintain high quality and guarantee safe and healthy food for us and our Clients.
Our experience to date ensures that we are able to broadly and swiftly address the Client’s requirements as well as volatile legal requirements and market needs.
The next step of our development was to extend our of'fer by providing services in international refrigerated transport in the European countries. We have modern truck fleet equipped for the transportation of hanging meet (refrigerated trucks with meat hooks) and other food products at temperatures ranging from -25°C to 25°C. Our range of services covers the whole of Europe. We provide prompt, timely and professional completion of transportation order's.
Our young and qualified staff develop their expertise through internal and external trainings. Due to the continuous growth of the company, the number of employees is gradually increasing and currently it amounts to 70 people working in the headquarter and production and approx. 30 drivers of international refrigerated transport.
Our mission is to develop and pursue success through the success of our Clients and partners. To increase the competitiveness of 'Mies-Pol’ company on the market we provide our customers with a growing range of safe, high-quality products. The quality of our products is constantly monitored by Quality Department staff. Our products and production environment are regularly subject to accredited tests conducted by independent external laboratories as Well as on-sìte tests by Quality Department personnel. We are also under constant supervision of the Veterinary Inspection.
We improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all activities of the organization and systematically modernize our plant.
Our company continuously increases sales by offering products that meet the requirements of both Polish and destination country regulations, as well as fully comply with our Clients’ specifications.
Company employees are competent and responsible for the implementation of activities related to cattle purchase, cattle slaughter, meat cutting and sale. They are provided with suitable conditions of employment, promotion and access to planned internal and external trainings for enhancing their professional qualifications. Our company prevents any symptoms of mobbing and discrimination at the plant. We maintain effective communication in connection with the animal food chain.
We are in constant contact with suppliers of livestock, providing them with our requirements and thus we ensure that we acquire animals for slaughter in a humane manner at all stages: purchasing, transportation, unloading, keeping and during slaughter. Personnel taking care of livestock and slaughtering animals have the knowledge and skills to perform these tasks humanely.
